Apparently, its poor form to use camera flash in fancy restaurants. My hot date insisted that I not use the flash, so my crappy cell phone pics were worse than usual last night at
Deuxave (by the way, has anyone figured out how to pronounce it yet?). He was paying for our meal, and its $$$$ on yelp, so I didn't protest. This was the second time I've ever eaten duck, and it was definitely the highlight of my meal. I thought it would be too much duck based off the pictures I saw, but bite after bite I wanted more. It came on a bed of lentils and a side of "french kisses," which were dates filled with foie gras. I don't eat fancy French meals very often, but I think its must be difficult to do well, so I think Deuxave was quite satisfying (despite the salad that didn't live up to the salad at olive garden). If I were a yelper, I'd give it 3.5/5 stars.
