Orange You Glad I Didn't Say Banana?

Why do college towns have the best food? Our Syracuse escapades were loosely modeled after an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Guy Fieri is a lucky man. This weekend may be in contention for one of the best food weekends I've experienced in a while. One word: amaze!!

Cuchi Cuchi

My dad was in town last week, so I took him to a uniquely Cambridge restaurant: Cuchi Cuchi. While the dishes were all tasty, nothing really blew me away. It can't be easy to pull of an international plates concept because it's so hard to do many things well.
sizzling garlic shrimp: the name didn't disappoint!
moroccan chicken tagine: lots of texture
grilled indian lamb: the lamb was a letdown
mexican deep-fried tomato: cheese + mole ftw

Yoma!

Lovely dinner at Yoma with my lovely interns. I've never had Burmese food before, but according to Yelp reviews, it's supposed to be authentic. The tea salad is their signature dish, which was an interesting concept, but I went crazy for the mango salad.
