As you may or may not know, I now live in New York City. Although I never have been super impressed by the NYC food scene, I'm excited to eat my way through the city and hopefully be proven wrong! My boyfriend Krishna has been nagging me to start up my blog again and I think it will be a fun way to remember some of our adventures.
I was thrilled when Krishna brought me to
Indian Accent, a restaurant that originated in New Delhi and recently opened up in Midtown. The food is the most imaginative take on Indian food. The first few dishes were elevated versions of familiar indian foods like dhokla or chaat, but as the meal progressed the dishes became more original creations highlighting indian flavors. With each dish there was gorgeous presentations, flavors and textures. It was a very memorable meal!
