Delux Cafe

If you haven't tried Delux Cafe in Boston, get there now.  Completely unassuming, it looks like a total dive from the outside, but so charming once you get inside. I love the dark, mysterious atmosphere. The food is comfort food done right. I ordered bean and cheese quesadillas (they were out of the jerk chicken tacos that I was drooling over!). The quesadillas, not exactly a risky choice, were delicious regardless. I also got the sticky toffee chocolate cake, the only dessert on the menu. I love that there's only one dessert. Gotta have confidence to pull that off. And yes, it was amazing. I've never had sticky toffee pudding before, but I want it now. That toffee flavor is addictive. My only complaint was that there wasn't enough of the cake :( Delux Cafe no doubt is one of my favorite places in Boston. If I didn't write a food blog, I might just go there for every meal.
